Journey to Bali...
Before I begin, I must tell you this. I am living in Singapore, and our journey to BALI was not that long, we caught a flight from Changi to Bali which is just a few hours flying and that was it. So here goes my Bali Travel Blog!
I woke up in the morning and got ready to go to the airport but before we boarded our flight, we had to pick up my grandmother from another gate. We landed in Bali in the morning around 11 o’clock. We started in the car with the local tourist guide (Bali Sundaram), and they welcomed us with their traditional necklace of flowers. Next, we went to the resort, which we booked from Singapore. My parents checked in our luggage while I was patiently waiting in the car with my grandmother and my sister. We made our way to Rafting at Ayung River. Here is a pic of it.
Day2
First thing in the morning after brushing my teeth and bathing (of course) we went to the buffet near the swimming pool, and ate some eggs, fruits, cereal and some Indonesian fried rice.
We started to Alas Harum which was a swing (not for babies) far away from the ground. Look at me!
After the swing, we went to a volcano, and the tour guide explained to us about the volcano. We also saw a Lake called Lake Batur. For Lunch, we went to Grand Punack Sari Restaurant which is an Indonesian buffet. After Lunch, we went to a coffee plantation site, where they served us 16 different types of coffee. We also bought one of them but what we bought was Rambutan TEA. After That, we also went to an Art Village. For dinner, we went to a Restaurant near our resort.
Day3
Well, it is the same thing as yesterday. I woke up and had the same breakfast I had yesterday. We started to go to Lepuyang Heaven gate which took us 40 minutes to go there, and we also waited for more than 3 hours (almost half the day was over) to take some photos. While we waited, we had some Coffee flavoured Ice-cream. But I can't lie. The photos we took were worth the wait, and here it is.
Day4
It was day 4 so fast that we had to check out the resort. For that don’t think the trip is over, we are moving to another resort so it will be easy to travel. So, today’s first spot was Ulun Danu Temple. As the name sounds it is just a temple where we took some photos until my eyes spotted (a boat), I just pointed it to my sister, and she was happy (to go on a boat ride). We went on a speed boat here it is.
Well, next was also boring because it was another temple, Taman Ayun Temple. It was so hot, there was nothing to see, we were just roaming. Well after that there was also another temple to visit, but it wasn’t that boring because it was located near the beach. After visiting the temple, my sister and I started playing in the water when I ACCIDENTALLY pushed her (HAHA!). We also saw the beautiful Sunset. We went back to the hotel and had dinner. We also checked into our new resort. There wasn’t any difference between the two resorts.
Day5
Finally, it was the day I wanted to go. Just try guessing the place, it is the Beach (not beach... beach...) but a day filled with water sports. First, we went to the beach and changed our clothes. Well, the first activity was Sea Walking, I wore a big helmet attached to a tube that had oxygen flowing. We are supposed to climb down the boat, there were also railings fixed by the sides of my hands so we could grab it, and of course, we saw fishes and we also fed them some soggy bread.
It was fun, and next was Flying Fish. It was also like Banana Boat but when the boat pulled the floatie we will be flying in the air. I would say it was better than Banana Boat.
Finally, it was Jet Ski, I have heard about it, but this time was my first time experiencing how it really is.
After all the activities had been done, we all started playing in the water. Don’t think the day would have come to an end, but there is one more thing, Paragliding. First, there was like a big bag where the parachute was also fixed with it. There was another person who first wore it and then there was a seat where I had to sit, and they locked me with some rope. Then one of them gave me a Go Pro which was recording a video. First was my father, then it was me, and my sister went, then my mother was last.
Everyone landed except for my sister, the person controlling it was not able to land because of the weight. They finally landed after a few attempts. Then we came back to the resort and started to sleep because everyone was tired.
Day6
Today was the day where we will be going to another island from Bali on a ferry. We told the resort to pack our food in boxes so we could take it. We first went to the ferry and had our breakfast on the ferry. We got down and had some Ice-cream. After eating Ice-cream, we went to do Snorkeling. Again, on a ferry, they took us to 4 different spots where we could go snorkelling.
After snorkelling we went to the same place where we started and had a bath. We saw 3 viewpoints they are Angel’s Billabong Broken Beach, Kelingking Beach and Crystal Bay Beach. It was raining in Crystal Bay Beach but still, we took umbrellas for rent and took photos. After all this, we went back to the ferry when we got in my father's Go Pro was missing. Luckily, I found it near the sand, and it was broken but nothing happened to the memory card inside so the photos we took were still there. We came back to the resort, and it wasn't even evening, so we started roaming near the resort I also bought a Soccer and Basketball Jersey. We went back to the resort and ordered pizza for dinner, surprisingly it was cheap, and the taste was also better than Singapore's.
It was the day no one would want. Journey back HOME. I had a nice time in Bali, but it was time to go back to Singapore. We checked out of the resort and went to the airport and made our way to my house.
